Replacing Main Floor Windows

The day we moved into the Pillar House, the living room had snow drifts. Partly due to the ancient front door, but also because a number of the windows were cracked or did not seal. We knew then that replacing the house’s windows would be a top priority. The BEFORE windows were single-pane, wood framed windows and were obviously original to the house. One of my first chores after moving was to drive screws into each frame to ensure all locks remained closed.

In May 2021, Renewal by Anderson replaced windows in our dining room (2), main floor bathroom (1), and living room (6). The installation crew was great — we had been quoted a 3-day job, but they were finished within 10 hours. The money saved during our first winter at the Pillar House on energy costs was well worth it! It has also been an absolute blessing to have windows opened during the cool Spring and Fall months, filling the ol’ house with fresh air. We highly recommend Renewal by Anderson and look forward to having the company replace our upstairs windows later in 2022 as well.
