It is important to refocus on the true meaning of Christmas, which is the birth of Jesus Christ. Are you looking for a way to prepare for the holiday season? A friend shared the idea of an Advent reading plan, and I thought that was a great practice for cozy December mornings.
Below, find an Advent Bible Reading Challenge. It is a structured way to reflect on scripture, anticipate the coming of the Messiah, and grow in your faith.
I plan to begin my mornings in December with this reading plan. My hope is to not only be more meaningful in my holiday celebration, but also deepen my spiritual understanding and joy this Christmas season. Advent is a powerful reminder of God’s love and plan for redemption – something I desperately need as 2025 closes and a new year begins.
If you also need a way to understand the full narrative of God’s salvation, then join me in this spiritual practice beginning tomorrow. I am looking forward to connecting with Jesus in a different way as Advent progresses.
